WPTL receives the North Carolina Dogwood Award

On December 12, 2024 WPTL was given the North Carolina Dogwood Award by Attorney General Josh Stein. The award is given to honor North Carolinians who are dedicated to keeping people safe, healthy, and happy in their communities. WPTL received the award for it’s community service of keeping communications flowing in Haywood County during Hurricane Helene. Pictured is WPTL owner Terryll Evans accepting the award from Attorney General Josh Stein.
